Your suggestions and help have been great in helping me understand jet boats.. ive got some g3 dealers near here and im going to look at a 1652sc with a 6040 jet motor made by yamaha.. i belive that is a two stroke.. i think this will be fine for me with 2-3 people fishing and hunting especially on rivers.. i have a 14 foot sears john boat and when i took it out years ago drifting we had to cross a lake at the end of the trip.. the waves were pretty high and i was very afraid we were going to be swamped.. it had a square bow.. will the front modified v of the g3 stop the worrys of swamping from waves in a lake? and will this design cause spray coming over the bow when going up and down rivers and crossing lakes with a heavy chop at a plane with this type boat?? thanks dave..
