I have a 2004 g3 1860 center console. Unlike the new models, it does not have the extension on the front deck with the two large storage compartments. I would like to add something like this to my boat so i can have a larger deck and also actually have some storage space in the boat.
I talked to G3, and they said I can't buy a storage box like the current models, but they do have a storage box add-on for my year model that extends the front deck back and has one storage lid. They couldn't tell me exactly how big it was, but from the pictures it looks like the thing extends the width of the boat, but the actual storage bin is only about 12x12x12.
Has anyone purchased the "deck extension storage box" for their G3 aluminum boat?
I've attached a picture of the box they e-mailed to me.
