gah...work sucks

My new (to me) boat is approaching the end of a 1900 mile tow and should be delivered to my house in about 4 hours. According to the USPS tracking page, my new chartplotter is currently "out for delivery". Trying to concentrate on work is simply not happening! Can I go home and play with new toys yet?

It's 88 degrees in northern ohio with waves 1 foot or less on Erie and I'm sitting here at work too.

WHatever it is you have.. it's not very good. you better take the rest of the day off. maybe even two or three days..

Some people get it really bad and take like a week off to get better. but I don't suggest you get that unless your dad owns the company man.

I'm already starting to feel anxious about winter coming! There aren't too many more perfect weekends left in Chattanooga ~cough~. I'm not sure ~sniffle~ how much it will ~cough~ rain this weekend, ~sneeze~ but we'll be out enjoying what we can.

LOL, so I'm not the only one! I think this is what it was like as a kid sleeping on Christmas Eve knowing something cool will be there in the morning.

funny I took all next week off for the reason of good weather is leaving us. I have to get my last few days of fun in while I can.

I know what you mean about sitting there watching the tracker. the man who invented that was a genious and a very cruel individual at the same time. LOL

Its 94 degrees outside, I'm stuck at work and have to work all day Friday. Saturday is going to be my last day out on the water and its only going to be in the low 70's WTF. Why cant Saturday be in the 90's???

I'm right there with you. My brother got a trailer this week which we are going to fit to his tub on Saturday. I got a new speed prop yesterday. And I can't go to the boat til my daughters damn soccer game is over Saturday at 10. The lake is 90 miles from home. Arrrrgh!

On a more serious note though, there is some rain in the long term forecast after this weekend for the east. Think about laying up if you don't want to get wet over the next few weekends. Or at least think about pulling your boat if you trailer. Up north where we are the cold creeps in around the middle of October.

just put in a day of overtime to help offset the money i just spent on the boat. the parts will get here during my next four days of work which starts tomorrow and my boat hasnt seen the water yet, well at least not with me at the helm. i feel your pain but the work provides for the toys. but you do seem kinda green right now, i think you need to take tomorrow off.

Thinking about calling it a seaoson myself, today is a perfect day for boating, where am I, WORK tommarow another beautiful day to take the boat out, where do i get to spend the day, AT ANOTHER wedding. then sunday, temps in the 60s and clouds when im finally free.
