I've just registered to this site in hopes of finding out a little more info on my boat. I have an '82 or '83 Galaxie (Jacksonville, TX) I am basically restoring on the interior side. I'm not sure of the year because I've buried my title somewhere, so I'm digging for that. It is roughly 17' long, and has a Mercruiser 470 inline 4 I/O. I am trying to find out any information on this boat I can. Also, looking for ideas on the interior. Mine had a lot of wood rot and cracked vinyl, so I've gutted it and am in the process of rebuilding. I have been leaning towards a vinyl composite teak-style floor covering... any opinions on that? It looks great in some newer models, and that's the idea I'm shooting for-updated and modern. Mainly, just looking for some input and info.
