I have a 5D11 Gale which I believe is the only 5hp full gearshift using the old style primer carb.I have operated other OMC motors with similar setups,no problem.Don't have mine running yet but curious::
Does anyone have first hand experience with the 5D11 type and 5D12 new style carb performance.Specs seem to be very close and 5hp should be 5 hp.
But the induction setup is much more sofisticated on the 5D12 type.
Anyone ever note any performance differences?
