Let me start by saying Thank you for all the great assistance I get on this forum. Now, on with my question; I recently picked up a Gale GG8837A, 1960 35hp Sea King. Does anyone know which adjustment screws do what on the carburetor and what is a good starting point in regards to where they should be set? Bonus question would be what would the rebuild kit part number be?

Thanks-a-million for your help, I appreciate it.

Re: Gale Products GG8837A Carberator question

As a beginning point, 3/4 turn open on the high speed needle (Lower one) and 1 1/2 turns on the slow speed needle (upper one), will get it running. Fine tuning will have to be done on a boat, on the lake. You cannot get it right in a barrel.

18-7010 carb kit, here at iboats, will work.
