Game fisher 7.5 tecumseh

I have a gamefisher 7.5 (tecumseh) thats flooding terribly. When the fuel is turned on it starts running out of the exhaust. What would be causing this and is it worth the repair?

Hello and welcome,

Check your fuel pump bladder and or the float could be sticking, generally if your replacing the fuel pump you need to do a complete carb rebuild;

I got one of those little devils and I had the same problem ,a sticking float can do this allowing fuel to flood the carb and go down the exhuast port .I suggest you put a rebuild kit in the carb as the carb can get gummed up inside over time and there is also a rubber bladder in the carb that acts as a fuel pump and can cause flooding problems also. Ebay has a complete kit for $30.00 by Eskaman. I also would get a fuel shutoff and a mechanics manual from him also.The fitting is a 1/8 pipe by 1/4 barb valve. After rebuild my carb the motor starts on the second pull.

Thanks for the responce and info. Pulled the carb float seems free and its impressively clean so probly the pump huh? Ill order a rebuild kit. Thanks
