Gamefisher 7.5 outboard motor

Can someone tell me why it takes so many pulls to get motor running?Before it was only<br /> like three pulls at the most,also what spark plug size should I be using in this motor?

What year is it and when did it last start last good?

A gamefisher motor is sold by Sears,they have a website for parts for anything they sell.I think it is searsparts.com or do a search for sears.You will need the year of the motor and the serial#.I have purchased parts for my 9.9 gamefisher.If the motor is right and you dont overprime it ,it should start on the first few pulls.a new properly gapped plug will help a quick start.Good luck!!!
