Gamefisher trihull cracked transom

Hello to all. I have a 14' gamefisher trihull with a 1968 johnson 20hp that has done me well for the past two years. About a month ago i hit a stump pretty hard on Lake o and everything seemed ok. I started getting water in the boat last week and on further inspection and after prying of some old cracked fiberglass on my transom i found a crack horizontally in the wood across the center. Me being a father of two and the only source of income i am strapped for cash. My question is what would be the most feasable route for repair so i can get back on the water. The wood is still good but should i redoo a complete new transom since the wood is cracked or can i seal it up and fiberglass it back in and be ok. I will have pictures soon.
