Re: Gamo Air Gun Scope

Here is a link to the same thing at the same price http://personalsecurityzone.com/cgi.../PSZ/?Template=ProdDetail.htm&ProductID=24253 But I am partial to MidwayUSA they have a great return policy and have great customer support. Look at it on MidwayUSA web site and read thr reviews..... not too good http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=253148 and midway has a good selection of air rifle scopes.

Maybe I am partial but I probably spent 150-200 a month in reloading supplies and toys in the last few months.

Good mailing list to be on.

This is the better beeman with a BSA CT3-12X40TS this one was on sale real cheep so we took a chance on air rifel use and It has held up for thousands of shots and can really be dialed in tight it is still around for 88 dollars without mounts

and the cheep one

with a basic bushnell scope that is pretty much a PITA

Re: Gamo Air Gun Scope

I purchased a brand new Gamo rifle ($149) with scope.

The scope mount was missing a screw. The O-ring at the barrel breach was cut and frayed.

I emailed GAMO and they said, "Ship it to us, and we'll fix the broken/missing parts". I asked for their shipper number and they said that I need to pay for the shipping. I asked why do I need to pay to have a brand new rifle fixed. They said that's the way it is.

I took it back to the retailer (it was within 48 hours) and got my $$$ back. I wrote gamo a note thanking them for helping me make my future purchase decisions, namely NOT GAMO!

They never even said the simplist "sorry" for the problems.

Sheesh. (rant over)

KRS there are many businesses that do not stand behind there product, it's not profitable  most places you have to pay freight to them but they ship back to you at there cost. Sounds like you got one made on monday morning

I have a daisy(winchester ) 1000fps and I was thinking of getting the varmit hunter scope for it. I think you can get them at bass pro for the same price as ebay without the shipping. they are alot of fun to shoot with the kids shooting the buck and crossman. mine came with an el-cheapo 3-9X40 scope but is still very accurate. I want something different or new mounts so I can use open sights. I took out 2 armadillos(man they can jump high) with mine and numerous turtles in a buddy's pond last summer

Re: Gamo Air Gun Scope

well looks like I won one on ebay (the gamo laser scope) I did read the feedback on the site listed above and it looks like (to me) that those that were unhappy with the scope most likely mounted it poorly. anyway I got it for 49.50 delivered, I guess I'll see first hand. realy I thought I would get outbid:rolleyes:
