Garmin 2006C or 545s

I'm looking to buy a boat that has a 545s installed and I have a 2006C with GSD21 module from my old boat. I'm not familiar with the 545s and like some input as to whether I should keep the 545s or replace it with my 2006c. Thanks for your help.

The 2006 has been discontinued for sometime now. They are still supporting and adding new features to the 545 via SW updates. That would make my choice easy.

The display on the 545s seems is small compared to the 2006c. I'm curious to know how operators of the 545s find the sonar capabilities. I know the GPS functions of both are very good. I have heard of some issues with the fishfinder function freezing up on the 545s. Wondering if that is a prevalent problem or something isolated. Thanks again
