Garmin 240 Blue, middle of display unreadable

Approximately 8 yrs old terrible screen burn in the middle approximately 2" by 2", can't see display except on either side, any remedy for this?

You 'might' find another unit pretty cheap, try to R&R the screen. You 'might' also find a replacement pretty cheap. I would think about finding something more updated, 8 years is very, very old technology ...
