garmin 541s

going over the same route over and over it leavs a red track line on the screen. i have looked in the book and mabe i just dont see it. i tried to save the one route and erase the rest but i cant seem to find out how it says do you want delete tracks?witch i tried but it gets rid of all tracks.any help would be grate thanks

To turn on the track log:
From any chart except the Fish Eye 3D, select MENU > Waypoints & Tracks > Tracks > On. A trailing line on the chart indicates your track.

To clear the active track:
From any chart except the Fish Eye 3D, select MENU > Waypoints & Tracks > Active Tracks> Clear Active Track. The track memory is cleared; the current track continues to be recorded
