Garmin Etrex Legend GPS Map

Can anyone please help me? I have an Garmin Etrex Legend and the map that was installed when I received it has gone! I don't know what I did, but the waypoints and tracks I have set, now have no background. Does anyone have maps for the South Island of New Zealand? I would be eternally grateful
