Garmin Selection with G2 Vision card

Is there any reason to buy a Garmin 740 vs a 720 if you're planning to put the G2 Vision card into the unit? Assuming you have G2 Vision coverage for the area that you boat, is there anything else gained by going to the unit with the charts already loaded?

The Vision card does not contains maps per say. It’s basically a bunch of gimmicky stuff that I personally found not very useful in real life, i.e satellite views, locations and phone numbers for the local McDonalds, etc. If you want the "real" maps you would need to purchase BlueChart G2s maps for the 720 as well.
