We are heading up to the cottage this weekend and will have the use of a 2010 Bayliner 175 bowrider. My brother returned last weekend claiming that he had been unable to remove the gas cap located on the port side near the transom, and as a result the tank is pretty much empty. Apparently there are two holes in the cap, possibly for a tool to be inserted? Other brother, friend of the boat owner, seems unaware of any special tool needed to open the cap.
If a special key is needed I would pursue the issue with the owner before heading up there. Advice?
