I don't know about your carbs. I can't find the xr2 listed here:
http://www.mercruiserparts.com/select_models2.asp?type_id=MERC
or here:
http://www.dolleroffshore.com/parts.cfm?c=mv&m=1

There is obviously quite a few xr2/4/6 around.
150 XR2 A905191 - A969903 1986 V6
150 XR2 A969904 - B289429 1987 V6
150 XR2 B289430 - 1988 V6 - sold intnl only
150 XR4 B242885 - C100860 1988 V6
150 XR4 C100861 - C221499 1989 V6
150 XR4 C221500 - D000749 1990 V6 2,0 L
150 XR4 D000750 - 1991 V6 2,0 L
150 XR6 D082000 - 1992 V6 2,0 L

But no parts online?

Why is that? :(

Excess fuel in carb could be the result of a stuck float in carb or worn needle valve in carb.

New float and needle valve should be availabe in a carb kit for under $20. Fairly easy to replace with the help of a manual.

Good luck!

You might want to check your reed valve for that cylinder. if a reed valve is faulty (broken) it can cause gas blow out from the carb. you can see the reed valve once you take off the carb. I just had trouble with mine, the yokel who did the "tune up" left a piece of plastic zip tie in the valve area. causing the blow out, it idled fine but when ya put the hammer down it stuttered, stammered etc. maybe you have a moth or something sucked in through the carb and it is causeing the problem for the reed valbe.
