Gas Gushing out of carburetor (Evinrude)

My 60hp. Evinrude model E60TLESM sn# g02551197 is leaking a lot of gas out of the carburetors. I testing on land before putting in the water and noticed this problem this morning. The motor cranks fine, runs fine. The problem is when the motor is running at lower rpms or idling, gas starts to spew from all three carbs. It does it worse after the engine is reved up and returns to normal idle. I suspect the floats are hung, please help, thanks

Needle valves are not shutting off, due to a) foreign material between the seat and valve b) float hung up or c) hollow float with holes (causes it to always keep the needle valve open). <br /><br />I would guess a) is most likely, since all three carbs are affected. Check you fuel tank pickup screen (may be gone) and engine mounted fuel filter (probably has a lot of debris in it).
