Re: gas/oil mix

You should use a TCW3 2stroke outboard engine oil

50:1 is 2.56 fluid ozs per US gallon

so thats 12.8 fl.ozs in 5 US galls .. call it 13 fl.ozs

At at 50:1 ratio of gas to oil

16ounce of oil to 6 gallon of gas = 50:1 ratio (actually it's 48:1) but for simplistic purposes it is 50:1

So each 1 gallon of gas will have 2.67 ounces of oil mixed with it.

A 5 gallon can of gas should have 13.3 ounces of oil mixed with it to have a proper 50:1 gas to oil ratio.

Oil type is TCW-3 2cycle oil (please don't use put the 2cycle oil for chain saws and weed eater)

Good luck my friend!!

If you all listened to me you would forget about ozs and pints and gallons and all work in ccs and litres like the rest of the world. I doesn't half make these calculations easy. ;)
