BIGKASH, Here in Australia you can buy a little container specifically designed for mixing oil. On the side are graduations for each of the more standard ratios 25:1, 50:1, 16:1, 10:1 etc. All you do is fill the oil up to the level that corresponds to how much fuel you have just put in your tank. - Easy. They cost about 5 bucks here, which in your $$ is about $2.50 ;) . Best money you could spend. Even better though is that you know youll be consistent each time you mix.

Maybe you can look for something similar over your way.

Cheers - T

Uh....I just checked; @ 50-1, 50 gallons gas requires 1 gallon oil. So that would mean....25 gallons + 1/2 gallon (or 2 qts) oil. 12 gallons gas = 1 qt. oil. Don't need to go metric. ;)

It was the devil and the #(#$&&W%^!@ French that came up with the metric system.

Go to k-mart or walmart. In the marine supply section they have a 2 dollar plastic measuring can that has the amount of oil written right next to the amount of gallons for 1-16/1-24/1-32/1-40/1-50.

You fill up the can with oil to where it shows the number of your amount of gallons of gas for whatever mix you use.
And you don't even have to understand the metric system.
By the way,Digimortal, did He join the metric system??

Thought I'd missed something and leafed through my bible real quick. Jesus mentioned cubits, spans, rods and a few other measurements, but not once [that I can find] did he mention meters, liters or any other metric stuff. What chapter is it in?

Just proves my point. Laddy, is it no wonder me ancestors emigrated from the old sod to a fine country where we could escape from the murder'n English b@st@rds and the influence of the treacherous French? :p :p

And if you're wondering: it's 1 cubit oil to 50 cubits gas.....
