Gas/Oil Ratio for Johnson 50 HP motor

Can someone please tell me what the gas/oil ratio is for my 1980-something Johnson 50 HP outboard motor? I think it is 40:1, but I am not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.<br /><br /> Jean
