Gas Removal Options?

My boats built in gas tank has some water in it. I suspect from condensation from sitting outside all winter/spring without being ran. The 22 gal tank is about half full. I have a fuel water seperator between it and my Yamaha F100 & F6's, but I'm afraid to run that fuel to my carbs.
Is there any good way to salvage the fuel? Say siphon it and run it thru a strainer? Or shoud I just discard it to be safe? What about additives -stabilizer,etc. Will they do any good? I heard something about a product called SeaFoam, but not sure what it is or where to find it. My local West Marine didn't carry or know what it was. They were high on some stuff call StarBright though it sounded more for diesel application.

Thanks

Just guessing here, wouldn't the fuel stay on top of the water if you let the tank sit for a while?

If so, you should be able to lower a hose in the tank and suck from the bottom, if you do it slowly you should be able to maintain the layering of the fluids. If your pour it into a bucket or so you should probably be able to smell when you reach the gas.

This is probaly far from 100% but maybe enough to have your filters to take care of the rest.

Jack up the boat and try to pump it out thru the filler if you can get the tank on an angle where it will cause the water to seek lowest corner, you can decant the gas off the top of the water since it is lighter than water.

I remove the fuel sender. raise the bow and use my electric fuel pump and a piece of copper tubing and suck off the bottom. but only if the fuel is known good. dont use any snake oils in the tank. if the fuel quality is suspect toss it and continue on. 11 gallons of bad nasties can cause 100's of dollars in repairs and aggrevation. but the only way to access it is through the sender hole.most draw tubes are 1/2" or so off the bottom. thats where the bad nasties are.
