Gas tank cap

We have a 2004 Starcraft pontoon boat model Starfish. One of the kids dropped the gas tank filler cap in the lake and we have been unable to find a replacement cap that fits. Any ideas??

I droped mine and retreived it with a magnet. If the chain is still on the cap you might be ablle to get it. The chain is steel...

Yea. Blame it on the kids..... LOL... Starcraft is the first place to try if they are still in business. If not, go to a dealer and look around their boats for similar caps. A trip to AutoZone may also be helpful as they have lots of assorted caps.

And of course once you locate one, secure it to the boat with a wire or chain..
