Hi everybody....Can you tell me whether my 1972 lightwin 4 hp evinrude uses a 2 line gas tank or a single line one? The fuel pump appears to have only one inlet line, but I don't want to guess! Thanks,
Ken

Single line tank, standard OMC connectors. You can get a six gallon tank, two connectors, and a pre-fab fuel line at walmart for around $40 total. OMC abandoned the pressure tank concept somwhere around 1960. My '61 5.5 horse used a standard tank.

FYI - now that i think about it, the WW tank may not be the 100% best recommendation. I've used them in the past and they're fair tanks, but they're prone to bloat if you forget to open the vent in storage.

Check out the Moeller "Topsider" tanks here on iboats -a much thicker grade of plastic. They also have a 3 gallon size which is probably more suited to your engine.
