gas treatment

Hello Ladies and Gent I have 2000 125 outboard mercury engine notice the engine is not starting as the other usage. had the engine tune-up and check over. I have a friend that has a boat and he used gas treatment so Ive spoken with mechanic and he claim that once you add treatment then for the engine to run you must contiune at every full-up so my question what do you Ladies and Gent thinks

that doesnt make any sence at all, its not crack for your motor, it doesnt get addicted to the stuff. Id try running some seafoam throught it, there are guys that use it every so often and ones that us it all time. My i run it through a couple times. it seems to help, but i see no need for it all the time.
