I hope I don't wear out my welcome here. This site is just fabulous!

Chevy 350 ( Merc 260 ), we are ready to put the motor back together, heads, intake manifold, exhaust, ect. Looks like we need Quicksilver # 27-75611A2 gasket set.

I have located a few sources on line for OEM sets. Including: jmsoline, stareboard supply. Suggestions anyone.

Is Sierra any good?

Thanks

Allthough people will say felpro this and gasket that
can't recomend merc factory gaskets enough.

if there was ever a service bulletin on a particular problem that requires a gasket, going factory will always come through with the most updated version

Yes, OEM (Mercruiser) is more expensive... But you get the right gaskets, and... if they cause a failure, of any type, then Merc warranty not only the failed gasket, but also all the parts it took with it. For 12 MONTHS!!! Ask Sierra or GLM or freds gasket shop... if they can match that!!!
