Getting the boat ready to launch, and I kinda of remember that I did not fill the gas tank up last year when I pulled it. (24 Gallon tank) I look at the tank, and see the gas line about 1/2 down the tank.<br /><br />Run to the gas station with the 11 gallon caddy, bring home to top off the tank. I get about 2 gallons in it and it starts going real slow and spitting back at me. Look at the tank still see the tank is 1/2 white 1/2 yellow. <br /><br />Must be a clogged vent. I remove the vent line from the tank, figuring that if the vent is clogged, that will bypass it Well not only was thetank full, so was the fill hose and vent hose, Gas went spraying everywhere, Good think I don't smoke. <br /><br />How Stupid next time I guess I will look at the fuel gauge, instead of a stained tank!!!<br /><br />Boat is now in the water, the driveway is cleaned up, and most of the clothes are trash.
