Gear Lube capacity for Alpha 1, Genn II

Can someone please tell me the Gear Lube capacity for Alpha 1, Genn II? Manual says to just fill it but I would like to know before hand to have an idea. thanks

Actually, 39 ounces may fill the drive, but it won't fill the reservoir if you have one. What year is your Gen II drive?

If you have the reservoir, buy two quarts, fill the drive per the manual, and top of the reservoir. Keep the rest on the boat incase the reservoir needs topped off.

The outdrive held no less that 50 ounces before it started coming out the vent hole at the top. Then about another 8-10 ounces in the reservoir.
