Re: 350 Mag MPI Horizon Bravo 2. About 40 hours on the power package. This spring the gimbal bearing was replaced under warranty due to water in the outdrive. Supposedly both vacuum and pressure tested. My question: is any gear lube consumption acceptable? Ran it yesterday for a couple of hours and the reservoir shows about a half an inch lower than the very top operating range of the remote reservoir. Since launch in May with relatively very little use (10 hours maybe) I have added maybe 6 ounces of gear lube which I check EVERY time I go out. Everyone's best guess last year re: the water intrusion was a blown seal. Now I constantly worry. Advice?

Re: Gear Lube Consumption

You should not be using gear lube, however some times on a refill the lube will go down a bit, so fill the reservior to the line one more time and try it again if it drops the level again call the dealer--Bob
