Gear Oil Monitor HELP!

Does anyone know of a tech. drawing of the gear lube monitor internal components? I cleaned a bunch of sludge out of mine, but during this the "float" (white round)? came off. I can get it back on but one end of it has a small rubber bushing inside it. I am trying to figure out if this goes up or down on the shaft.

Funny here I am again posting to my own post... but in the interest of learning and the spirit of this forum (which is awesome) I have an answer to my question.

Inside the type B gear lube monitor is a reed switch. What I thought to be a black bushing on the float is actually a magnet. This goes down.

Hope this helps someone out.
