Ok, I know this sounds strange, but I don't know how else to explain it. While under way I smell gear oil at the helm, specifically down by my feet, no its not my feet, I know the smell of gear oil its very distinctive. I have an alpha one outdrive gen 1 with no inside reservoir. I have a power steering pump but it doesn't seem like a power steering fluid smell. My gear box is sealed, no leaks, oil is full and clear. Any one else ever experience this? Any ideas?
