gear ratio

I have a 1999 65hp commercial johnson. serial # G 04769559 and Im wondering what the ratio might be.<br /> Thanks Gary

Which equates to 2.415.... driveshaft shaft revolutions to 1 revolution of the prop shaft.

Thanks for the quick response. I was guessing it was 2.0 or 2.23 when calculaing speed. Now were back to the drawing board.<br /> Again thanks, you people do a fantastic job on this forum and I usually pop in every other day. The info is great.

If youre trying to figure slip %, just post your rpm, prop pich and top verified (gps) speed. We'll see what we can do.
