On two identical motors except for shaft length and prop is there a diff in gear ratios from the factory?<br /><br />I am talking about a 1993 evinrude 8hp 15" short shaft with a regular prop and an Evinrude 8hp 20" long shaft sailboat motor with a big fat prop.<br /><br />Can the lower units be swapped out between the engines??
