It depends where it's leaking from. My motorcycle has a gel battery that sits at a 45 degree angle and it leaked a tiny bit of goo from a seam. I cleaned it up and then used a soldering iron on low heat to reseal the hairline crack in the case. I then filled the small groove with araldite and taped it up. Still working and not leaking 2 years later...
