On the very bottom of my boat, there is a 1 to 2 inch patch of gel coat that has been worn off, probably as a result of trailering... there are a couple of rollers that would hit the spot frequently.
The fiberglass that is visible looks good and undamaged.
My question is, does this have to be fixed? Is the fiberglass that is currently showing still water proof, etc?
If it does need to be fixed, is it a fairly easy DIY type thing, or what would be the cost of having a professional do it?
