good afternoon all: Is it possible to thicken gel coat, so that it can be used to repair deep scratches on the side of and under the hull.If so how is this done?<br />kind regards.<br /> William Wright.

Yes, There are a few different things you can use to thicken gel coat, normally fumed silica is used though, Aerosil and Cabosil are two common brands. If you can't find it locally, you can order it online.

sherwin/willams claims they have a clear coat that is thick /shots high mill.
