gel coat repair

Has anyone had success using gel patch paste from evercoat? The reason i,am mixing my own is marada the boat maker is unwilling to supply the formola, so i can have a pro mix it up.

Big ole Texas howdy to ya Paul, and welcome to the board.<br />The reason your mfg. won't give ya the formula to there color gelcoat iz because they ain't got it. They by the gelcoat from someone like PPG who has the formula. I'm not familiar with Evercoat. What color are you concerned about. How big an area?<br />You might be able to get a small amount of gelcoat from your mfg. Or your dealer might be able to get you a sample.<br /><br />G'luck<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />hooty

thanks hooty for your reply. No luck with marada, i bought the boat used , and it a 1995 i dought if a dealer would be able to help
