They were recommended to me by many. I have not done mine yet. There are tips and instructions on their site, and they will sell you a color matched repair kit. for your boat.

for a bazillion answers....take pics and post them in the restoration section.....

generlly a 600 grit wet is waht is used....however i had fantastic results from progressive dry sanding all the way up to 1500 then using farecla 300 compound...then wax

you will need to grind out the areas...clean with aceitone.....

one thing about color matching......its allmost impossible as the second your boat is pulled from the mold....the gellcoat starts changing color......black is allways easyest....then white.....the colors in between ....just paint

Minor holes need to be filled with a structural filler...then top coated with gelcoat. Sanding small repairs like that can be skipped if you use mylar sheet over the gelcoat. Tape around the area as close as possible...apply gelcoat PASTE...lay the mylar sheet on top...squeegee flat and let sit until cured...then peel the mylar and tape off. You may need to buff or compound the tape line but the gelcoat will be shiney as the mylar.

If you want to do the gelcoat by sanding...brush on geloat...sand down at least to 600 grit (wet or dry) and compound the sanding marks out with a high speed buffer. Buffing 600 with compound to a full gloss is faster than sanding down with finer grit paper...but using mylar is faster and easier all the way around.
