I have started to restore the gel coat on my Avalon and I am having a hard time getting into the channels that run down the bow with even pressure.I have tried just using a finger but the channels are pretty thin. Suggestions, tips, tricks are welcome

TIA

Looks great. How about a paint stir stick on edge?

At work- bodyshop, we use a scotch pad wrapped in sandpaper for tight spots. Gives a little cushion so you dont get trail marks/grooving.
