Gen 3 Cooling Module Leaking Water

Hi Folks!

My starboard Gen 3 Cooling module seems to be leaking water from the bottom hose connection, the top hose connection seems to be in great shape without leaks.

Do I need to replace the hose or a clamp? I can't even really tell how they connect except that I see what looks like a stainless steel bar connecting the two hoses in parallel... Really odd design? I don't see any hose clamps either?

Started researching and reading bulletins that maybe this module has been replaced by a newer module? I hope not because the cost is excessive! :embarassed:

Bulletin >>https://www.perfprotech.com/blog/tec...rvice-bulletin

'Why Knot' is a 2006 Bayliner 325SB

Engine Serial Numbers are:
0W624177
0W624191

EDIT: Motors are a Merc 350 MAG MPI with B3 drives

Thanks!

Merc was picking up the tab for a new unit if you brought the boat into a dealer and paid the labor, Check that out

Thanks all! That bulletin certainly applies to the motors we have!

Just got off the phone with Mercruiser and it looks like they are only offering replacement assistance if the paint is coming off on the inside of the cooling module and clogging up the fuel system. They advised that my only option is to replace the housing ($400-500) or the whole unit ($1100).
