Generator connector for honda 8hp

I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terminology but my question is about the connecter that plugs into a 1999 8hp honda outboard and runs wire to the battery for charging. My motor didn't come with one.

Are there any standard parts that can be used or do I have to pay Honda aftermarket prices for this part? Do the wires go directly from the connecter to the battery through a fuse? Any help is appreciated.

The wires go directly from the connector to the battery and from the battery to accessory the fuse is inside the motor compartment on the left above the charging port you can make your own connectors or just buy it from the dealer

I was at the dealer today and I asked about the connection plug? he said you have it already it is the cap!! you take out and remove the pins open the holes in the back of the plug and connect your wires to the pins and to the battery
