Possibly planning to put A/C in my cabin this year. What size genset do I need to run a 5000 btu unit? Running amps is around 4.4, but the start load is around 45 amps. Don't want to go to a real big generator just for the surge. Can a hard start capacitor kit help drop the start up surge?
