Hello! Anyone own one of these? The wife is starting to get the itch to want to buy one. We had the older style Forman grill. The teflon coating wears off and everything you cook on it burns and sticks. Nice to use inside when raining, would rather just fire up the gas BBQ outside though. The price of the new Forman grill is quite a bit more than the old one. Cheapest I have seen it is about $100.00. So before we went out and brought one I thought I'd ask who here has one and if they like/dislike it and if they thought it was worth the $$$.

Thanks! :)

how 'bout a pic fireship. We use a 'standard' size GF grill for sandwiches all the time. It has held up well. We also have a big 'double' size one but I haven't used it yet.

Have an older one I have been using for a billion years. Teflon coating will come off of anything if cleaned with an abrasive pad. I use a wad of paper towels and wipe down the GF immediately after cooking. Done, no problems, Teflon's like new, nothing ever sticks.

i have a large, don't use it that often but when i do it always does a good job. i've found they work real good with fish as in filets, don't have to flip em and they get cooked crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

steaks go on the outdoor grill though.

Hey Charlie, When you get around to using it let me know what you think of it. The one you purchased is the one my wife wants to buy. Just thought I would ask others what they thought of it before I went to buy one.

Thanks! ;)
