Getting a jon boat!

Next week, im going to Gastonia to pick up a 14' Polar Craft flat bottom jon on a 16' Cox trailer! Theboat is in great shape, trailer has new wheels and tires as well as new bearings! Im picking up the combo for $600!

Trailer looks good, actually, it looks a lot like mine.
Get ya a couple flip up seats and some anchor mates and your all set.:D

Price is right too.

yeah its a mercury (im not getting it though). im going to totally redo the inside. taking out at least one bench set and placing a tall swivel est up there, then placing one on the bench in the back.

Im placing 1/4" flooring in it covered in carpet. building storage are up front and placing a hand winch for the anchor. getting a fishfinder for it. the seats im getting are the plastic ones with the camo paddign in them from bass pro...

Do her up the way you want it. I set my little 14' flat up for two people. That way, we weren't in each others way. Even built little "bait tables" so we did not have to work off the bench.
Best thing I bought was an electric anchor mate and troller.
You'll enjoy it.

dont need the gas motor, i have a 50lb thrust minn kota i picked up of of CL for $120 (it was only a year old and still looked brand new!) i may get one down the line....

yeah im setting it up for two people, maybe three, cus somethimes the fiance like to go with me and her daddy... so ill prolly set it up permanly for 2 and have a seat i can take in and out in the middle.
