Getting ready to do a casting deck on the Beast.

After a succesful season with the Skank, I am going to the next level. I bought myself a Minnkota Power Drive bow mount for some fishing action, and decided a casting deck is in order. I will be mounting a piece of 1/2 in CDX on top of the bow seating. I will also be mounting up a casting seat with a flush pedestal mount so I can remove the seat and pedestal if I want. I will be fortifying the middle of the 1/2 in ply to hold the pedestal mount and make things strong. I will be coating the plywood with many coats of polyurethane paint and no-slip stuff, and it will be bolted in for easy removal or replacement. This will also make a good sundeck as it has enough surface area for the better half to lay on. I have everything I need, I just need to get started.
