I have a 1985 18' Sunbird boat that I'm fixing up. The red on the boat has faded some over the years closer to the back or the boat. I've tried waxes, compounds, everything to bring it back out but no luck so far. We run in salt water alot so most of the time when I wax the boat and then use soap to wash it, after a few times it has cut all the wax off. I'm getting ready to prep and paint just the red all the way around the boat only. I was going to use Emron paint but I've been told there is a new paint out called Nasen 2K Urethane that is supposed to be really good. It is a Dupont brand paint. Bottom line is that I need some suggestions on prepping the boat and what do you recomend on paint brands and procedures on the best way to go about doing this. I've painted cars some but never boats.

Thanks in advance:
Jason
