Well I guess I went and did it. If the trial goes well, we will be the owner of a new to me pontoon. It is a 2000 20ft Weeres Suntanner with a Merc 50. It is in pretty good shape for a 13 year old boat. But it will need some items. I did reserve a bunk trailer for it, but on the look out for a cheaper one in the next few days. Also there is no cover for it. What is the best way to cover it. In the summer, it will be on a trailer sitting in the driveway. The winter will be spent outside in a storage lot. Is it better to get a storage/mooring cover or just a regular cover and build a frame and use a tarp to cover it in the winter? Also there are 2 pretty good rips / holes on one of the front seats. What is the best way to get those repaired? Can the back of the seat come out and just have that redone? Is it east to take a plastic base seat out? Im sure that i will ask more questions as time goes on. All i need now is no more snow, warmer weather and to sell my other boat... No pressure here. Now for the picts...

Nice Toon, enjoy, and the 3 gates are going to come in handy.

Yeap, I really like this boat. It is setup about the same as mine with the 3 gates and the way the furniture is laid out. I own a 1991 Lowes Model 202 boat with about the same floor layout as yours and I like it. Yeap, I am thinking about taking my Pontoon boat out over Mothers Day weekend.

Float it in good health. About the same floor plan as my 18'. After years of ski, and go fast boats, the 'toon is Sooooo much more fun.
