Sincerely,
Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Iboats has brought a host of (I'm starting to think of you as family already!) friendly folks to my living room, and also already has been a very good source of info on stuff related to what I am doing and it makes me very appreciative of this wonderful site.
I sure hope all of you can enjoy the holiday season to the max.
I am just a little envious of those of you who can just go and launch a boat at this time of the year, or even get into one that's just patiently waiting like a trusty 'ol horse at the post or a hound at the door.
My own boat is serving as a Christmas gift at the moment (wrapped and everything!) with real snow covering it, and the trees behind it
inching toward the river, ready to bolt for the water as soon as it thaws and melts into propellor juice, where the fish are hiding beyond a six to eight inch thick frozen layer of ice.(Ever see ice that was not frozen?) Never liked the idea of hacking and drilling for food. Global warming my butt!
May the God of Christmas be gracious to you and give you everything but ice and more.(Just think how much more I can appreciate the Summer boating season!)
I also just have to say that the site's moderators and masters are simply the best, and that I personally want to thank you all for your kind and patient advice and concerns, suspecting that moderating could be a real pain in the poopdeck for sure!
Kind regards from Northern Ontario
God go with you,
PH.
