Getting the air out of the TNT

My dad has a 95 OMC outboard. He is having a hard time getting the air out of the TNT. Is there a way to bleed the air out when adding fluid?
I believe it's a 130 hp.

Fill the reservoir, put in plug, raise and lower the engine a couple of times. Repeat until it doesn't take any more fluid.

In addition to what the PP said, run it up, wait 5 minutes, fill the resevoir. Now run it down and up and let set 5 minutes and fill. Repeat until all air bubbles are out.
