Along with all of the other stuff I've been working on over the winter I've also been replacing the wood on the dash, when I got it there was oak but I got my hands on a piece of Honduran mahogany. Almost ready to stain.

Nice. Hope you don't mind I snooped through your other pics too. Looks wayy better.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with it so far. It had a lot of switches that didn't do anything and wiring was a mess.

95% done, just a few loose ends to tie up otherwise I think it's ready for summer!
Taking it out for a test run Friday after work.

Very nice. I like your panel and the boat. You should be very proud of your work. :thumb: :thumb:

Thanks!
It's not perfect but I am pretty darn happy with the results! 😁
I still need to install the bilge pump and the new covers for both the gas tank area with speakers and the stern area to hide the batteries and such.

Ok for those who may not have seen my other posts.
The boats a '74 Crestliner (I think Dane but can not confirm that) with a '76 Evinrude 115hp.
It was not a total rebuild or anything just a good cleanup and fixing / redoing the thing that were wrong or just worn out.

Replaced the missing horn
Re-wired 98%
Cleaned and regreased controls and added after market tilt/trim switch
New wood(Honduran Mahogany) on the dash
New switch panel with USB ports
Rebuilt lower unit, it was supposed to just be a water pump but things got ugly
Rebuilt carbs

Still to be done:
Bilge pump
Courtesy lights
Speakers
2 vinyl panels

Thanks

Did you just add a pin to the members map?

If so you may have misspelled your chosen user name.... just add a new pin. The error can be deleted

Either post here or send me a PM if you are able to edit the error, dont think you can, or if you create a new 1
I think since it was fat fingers that made the error it let me change it. Should be good now.
